• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWP0RT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL OF TULLY H. SEYMOUR, ATTORNEY
AT LAW, TO PROVIDE INTERIM SUPPLEMENTAL LEGAL
SERVICES
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a proposal from Tully H. Seymour,
Attorney at Law, to provide interim supplemental legal services
to the City of Newport Beach during the period of the recruit-
ment for the position of City Attorney, as required; and

WHEREAS, Tully H. Seymour has offered to provide said
services on an hourly, part -time basis at the rate of $50 per
hour, with a suggested maximum monthly billing of $800 unless
prior approval obtained; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it
would be in the best interests of the City to accept said
proposal;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposal of
Tully H. Seymour to provide the interim supplemental legal
services above described, at the rate of $50 per hour, with a
maximum monthly billing of $800 unless prior approval obtained,
is approved, effective as of June 1, 1971, and the.Mayor is
hereby authorized to accept the same on behalf of the City of
t Beach.
ADOPTED this 14th day of June, 1971.
