Home My WebLink About7628 - General Municipal Election - 4-11-72r1 U RESOLUTION NO. 7628 i J A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS AND ESTABLISHING THEIR COMPENSATION, DESIG- NATING POLLING PLACES, AND PROVIDING FOR THE OPENING AND CLOSING OF THE POLLS FOR THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON APRIL 11, 1972 WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No, 7611 called a general municipal election to be held on April 11, 1972, as pro- vided in the Charter of the City of Newport Beach; and WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council appoint election officers, establish their compensation, and designate polling places to be used in said election; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows: SECTION 1. SECTION 3. That the polls for said election shall be open at 7:00 a.m. of the day of said election and shall remain open con- tinuously from said time until 7:00 p.m. of the same day, when said polls shall be closed, except as provided in Section 14436 of the Elections Code of the State of California. SECTION 4. That in all particulars not recited in this resolution, said election shall be held and conducted as provided by law for holding municipal elections in said City'.
