RECOMMENDATION: Remove the item from the calendar. DISCUSSION: The Telecom Permit was reviewed at the June 11, 2013, City Council meeting. After discussion, the City Council directed the applicant to work with the nearby homeowners associations on alternative designs and locations, and the item was continued to July 23, 2013. The applicant has requested that the item be removed from the calendar in order to allow additional time to work with the homeowners associations and review alternative sites (Attachment No. CC 1). Because this application was continued to a date certain, no additional public notice was required. Upon feedback from our engineers to the viability of possible alternative locations, we will inform the City if we will be continuing with this application. As expressed on the call, we were not fully aware of the CEQA and environmental concerns made below by OCWM until the 6/28 meeting, but now that we are properly informed these concern can and will be addressed.
