A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SPRINKLER SYSTEM
AND LANDSCAPING IN SAN JOAQUIN HILLS PARK
• TO BOB'S LANDSCAPING SERVICE, CONTRACT
NO. C -1555
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with the installation of sprinkler system
and landscaping in San Joaquin Hills Park, in accordance with
the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
received on the 4th day of September, 1973, and publicly opened
and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefor is Bob's Landscaping Service, Santa Ana;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Bob's Landscaping
Service for the work in the amount of $10,905.33 be accepted,
and that the contract for the described work be awarded to
said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on be-
half of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be
directed to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 10th day of September , 1973.
