RESOLUTION NO. 8189
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING AN INTERSECTION
AT WHICH VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED TO YIELD AND
DIRECTING THE TRAFFIC ENGINEER TO ERECT
NECESSARY YIELD SIGN
WHEREAS, Section 12.36.020 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that whenever an ordinance or
resolution designates and describes an intersection at which
vehicles are required to yield at one or more entrances
thereto, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect yield signs
at those entrances of such intersection where a yield is
required, and every driver of a vehicle shall yield at such
intersection; and
WHEREAS, certain intersections should be designated
as intersections where vehicles are required to yield at one
or more entrances thereto as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the following described
location is hereby designated as an intersection at which
vehicles are required to yield, and the City Traffic Engineer
is hereby directed to erect and maintain a yield sign at said
location, such that:
Eastbound vehicles on Bristol Street turning
right onto Jamboree Road yield to vehicles
on Jamboree Road.
ADOPTED this 28th day of January, 1974.
