RESOLUTION NO. 8417
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE PLANNED
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR THE
HARBOR VIEW HILLS PLANNED COMMUNITY
WHEREAS, Section 20.51.070 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that amendments to the Planned Community
Development Standards must be approved by a resolution of the
Planning Commission and City Council setting forth full particulars
of the amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public
hearing on August 15, 1974, at which time it considered certain
amendments to the Planned Community Development Standards for the
Harbor View Hills Planned Community; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing the Planning Commission
adopted Resolution No. 437 recommending to the City Council
certain amendments to said Planned Community Development Standards
for the Harbor View Hills Planned Community, so as to reduce the
permitted density in Area 11, update the statistical analysis for
Areas 11 and 15 and make other general changes in the Land Use
Map and P -C Text, be adopted; and
WHEREAS, on December 9, 1974, the City Council conducted
a public hearing on the proposed amendments in accordance with
all provisions of law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that
certain amendments to said Planned Community Development Standards
as set forth in Amendment No. 437 are desirable and necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
hereby amends the Planned Community Development Standards for the
Harbor View Hills Planned Community as referred to hereinabove.
