RESOLUTION NO. 8697
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT
TO WILLIAM R. HAHN FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT
BALBOA BOULEVARD AND 23RD STREET, CONTRACT
NO. 1779
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with the traffic signal at Balboa
Boulevard and 23rd Street, in accordance with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the
29th day of January, 1976, and publicly opened and declared;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefor is William R. Hahn;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of William R. Hahn
for the work in the amount of $16,648 be accepted, and that the
contract for the described work be awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
