RESOLUTION NO. 8801
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING HEALTH SERVICES
FEES FOR MASSAGE PARLORS AND TATTOOING
ESTABLISHMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council has provided by ordinance
that the fees for certain health services provided by the County
Health Officer in connection with the inspection of massage
parlors and tattooing establishments shall be paid by the
proprietor or operator of such establishments; and
WHEREAS, the County Health Officer has submitted a
fee schedule for said services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said fee
schedule and has found it to be fair and equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the following health services
fees shall be levied by the City of Newport Beach and collected
by the County of Orange annually:
Tattooing
Establishments
$80.00
per
year
Massage
Parlors
$65.00
per
year
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said fees are to be paid
prior to the issuance of any permits for said establishments.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution will
become effective on July 29, 1976.
