RESOLUTION NO. 8868
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM
JESSE SELL, JR. IN CONNECTION WITH THE OCEAN-
FRONT BEACH ACQUISITION PROJECT
WHEREAS, there has been delivered to the City of
Newport Beach a certain grant deed dated August 30, 1976 ,
wherein JESSE SELL, JR. grants to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
the following described real property in connection with
the Ocean -Front Beach acquisition project:
That portion of Block T of the Eastside
Addition to the Balboa Tract as shown on
a map recorded in Book 4, Page 20 of
Miscellaneous Maps, which lies Southwesterly
of the Southwesterly line of Surf Avenue
and which is included between Easterly and
Westerly lines of Lot 5, in Block 16 of said
Eastside Addition of said Balboa Tract;
EXCEPT any portion of said land which lies
below the lines of the mean High Tide Line of
the Pacific Ocean.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to
accept said grant deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said grant is hereby accepted,
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and
attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent to its
recording and to cause said document to be recorded in the
Office of the Orange County Recorder.
