A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING"
RESTRICTIONS FROM 3:30 A.M. TO 6:30 A.M. ON
MARINE AVENUE BETWEEN PARK AVENUE AND NORTH
BAY FRONT ALLEY, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 7192
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.150 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall by resolution
designate streets or portions of streets on which the parking
or standing of vehicles is to be prohibited, and shall designate
in the resolution the days of the week and the exact hours
during which such prohibition shall be in effect; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
reasonable and in the public interest to prohibit parking of
vehicles on Marine Avenue between Park Avenue and North Bay
Front Alley between the hours of 3:30 A.M. to 6:30 A.M. daily;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that parking of vehicles shall be
prohibited daily between the hours of 3:30 A.M. and 6:30 A.M.
on Marine Avenue between Park Avenue and North Bay Front Alley;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
is authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark said
area to indicate such parking prohibition.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 7192 is
hereby rescinded.
