RESOLUTION NO. 9022
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ORDERING THE VACATION AND
ABANDONMENT OF AN EXISTING 10 -FOOT WIDE PUBLIC
UTILITY EASEMENT OVER LOT 49, TRACT NO. 9261
WHEREAS, the City Engineer presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach on January 14, 1977,
a certain map prepared by the Public Works Department of the
City of Newport Beach marked Exhibit "A" dated February 1,
1977, showing the existing 10 -foot public utility easement
(Lot 49, Tract No. 9261 - Yacht Resolute, Seaview area), which
the City is considering vacating; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach approved and adopted said map on January 14, 1977, and
directed the City Clerk to file same in the proceedings for
the abandonment of said existing 10 -foot wide public utility
easement; and
WHEREAS, on March 14, 1977, the City Council held
a public hearing for the purpose of hearing all persons
interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandon-
ment of said above - described public utility easement; and
WHEREAS, the.City Council finds and determines from
all of the evidence submitted that the subject public utility
easement described herein and more particularly in Resolution
No. 8989 is unnecessary for present or prospective public
use.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
. of the City of Newport Beach that said 10 -foot wide public
utility easement, more particularly described as:
"A 10 -foot wide public utility easement along
the northeasterly side of Lot 49, Tract 9261
as shown on a map filed in Book 380, pages 32

to 35 inclusive, Miscellaneous Maps, Records
of Orange County, California."
is hereby ordered vacated and abandoned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk is hereby
ordered to cause a certified copy of such order attested by the
Clerk under the seal of the City to be recorded in the Office
of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
