A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH RESCINDING THE
• REJECTION OF THE OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR
SUNDANCE DRIVE AND ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF
DEDICATION OF SUNDANCE DRIVE IN TRACT
7989
WHEREAS, Sundance Drive, as shown on the map of
Tract 7989 in Orange County, California, was offered for
dedication to the public on said map; and
WHEREAS, said offer of dedication of Sundance Drive
was rejected by the City Council at the time the Final Map
of Tract 7989 was approved by the City Council on April 23,
1973; and
WHEREAS, the Final Map of Tract 7989 was recorded
in Book 323, Pages 11 through 16, inclusive of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has again considered the
offer of dedication of Sundance Drive and finds the acceptance
thereof is in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the City Council rescinds
its prior rejection of the offer for dedication of Sundance
Drive, and the offer for dedication of Sundance Drive in Tract
No. 7989 is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized
and directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution of
acceptance of the offer for dedication of Sundance Drive to be
recorded in the Orange County Recorder's Office.
ADOPTED this 12th day of September, 1977
