RESOLUTION NO. 9179
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING PARKING RESTRIC-
TIONS FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 12:30 P.M. ON 29TH
STREET (BETWEEN BALBOA BOULEVARD AND NEWPORT
BOULEVARD) FOR THE PURPOSE OF STREET CLEANING
WHEREAS, Section 12.55.150 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall by resolu-
tion designate streets or portions of streets on which the
parking or standing of vehicles is to be prohibited, and shall
designate in the resolution the days of the week and the exact
hours during which such prohibition shall be in effect; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
reasonable and in the public interest to prohibit parking of
vehicles at certain times and in certain areas of the City in
order to effectively operate the City street sweeping program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that parking of vehicles shall be
prohibited between the hours from 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on
the following street and on the following days:
29th Street - between Balboa Blvd. and Newport Blvd.
West side - Wednesday
East side - Thursday
ADOPTED this 12th day of September , 1977.
