A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING THE PARCEL MAP FOR
RESUBDIVISION NO. 600, ACCEPTING THE DEDICA-
TION OF A CORNER CUTOFF AT VILLA WAY AND 30TH
STREET, APPROVING A SUBDIVISION AGREEMENT
GUARANTEEING COMPLETION OF THE IMPROVEMENTS
REQUIRED WITH RESUBDIVISION NO. 600, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a Parcel Map for Resubdivision No.
600, subject to the offer of dedication of a corner cutoff at
Villa Way and 30th Street; and
WHEREAS, Milton and Claire T. Bren have made the
offer of dedication of a corner cutoff at Villa Way and 30th
Street; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Subdivision Agreement
between the City of Newport Beach and Milton and Claire T. Bren
guaranteeing completion of the improvements required with
Resubdivision No. 600; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the Parcel
Map and offer of dedication of a corner cutoff at Villa Way
and 30th Street, and finds that the approval of the Parcel Map
and the acceptance of the above - described offer of dedication to
be in the best interests of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and
conditions of the above - described Subdivision Agreement and finds
them to be satisfactory and that it would be in the best interest
• of the City to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said
agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said Parcel Map is approved and
the offer of dedication is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk
is authorized to execute the certificate on said Map consistent
herewith and approving the signature omissions per Section
• 664361b)(1) of the Subdivision Map Act.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said agreement above
described is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the
City of Newport Beach.
