• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING AN ANNUAL PIER
FEE PURSUANT TO SECTION 17.33.030 OF THE
NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, on June 9, 1980, the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach adopted. Ordinance No. 1852 which
amended Section 17.33.030 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code to establish by resolution of the City Council an
annual pier fee; and.
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the
fees recommended by the City Manager and finds them to be
fair, equitable and reasonable,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach hereby establishes
the following schedule of fees as the amounts to be
deposited with the City pursuant to Section 17.33.030 of
the Newport Beach Municipal Code:
(A) Non- commercial piers - $15.00
(B) Commercial piers - $20.00
(C) For additional slips or floats:
(1) Not more than 10 slips or
floats - $2.00 for each
(2) Not more than 20 slips or
floats - $20.00 plus $1.00
for each slip or float in
excess of 10
(3) More than 20 slips or floats -
$30.00 plus $.50 for each
slip or float. in excess of 20.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date for
'• said schedule of pier fees shall be July 10, 1980.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of June, 1980.
