• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT (NO. 2181
INCLUDING ADDITIONAL BID ITEMS NO. 18 -24) TO
JOHN T. MALLOY IN CONNECTION WITH THE JASMINE
CREEK STORM DRAIN, PHASE I PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the Jasmine Creek Storm Drain, Phase I
Project, in connection with the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 15th day of April,
1981 and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is JOHN T. MALLOY.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that the bid of JOHN T. MALLOY in the
amount of $432,824.00 be accepted, and that the contract for the
described work (Contract No. 2181) be awarded to said bidder; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accor-
dance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of
the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to
furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 27th day of APr'il , 1981.
