A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF
TEMPORARY AND SEASONAL CLASSES FOR THE 1981 -82
FISCAL YEAR AND AMENDING THE COMPENSATION PLAN
• AND TABLE OF AUTHORIZATION TO REFLECT SAID
CHANGES AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 9830
WHEREAS, the City Council. of the City of Newport Beach
has adopted a Compensation Plan and Table of Authorization
establishing salaries for temporary, and seasonal classes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered salary
adjustments for temporary and seasonal employees; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the
Compensation Plan and Table of Authorization to reflect the
changes of salaries and temporary seasonal classes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Compensation Plan and Table of
Authorization be and it is hereby changed to reflect the
alteration of salaries for temporary and seasonal classes,
effective July 1, 1981, as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said compensation shall be
payable in monthly, semi - monthly or bi- weekly installments, as is
most convenient in the ordinary course of the preparation of the
City's payment of obligations.
ADOPTED this 24 day of August , 1981.
