RESOLUTION NO. 82 -92
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDI'lG THE PLAN
CHECKING AND IiSPECTIONS FEES FOR SUBDIVISION
IMPROVEMENTS TO BECOME EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1982
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 9100
WHEREAS, Section 19.24.030 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code provides that costs of plan checking and inspection of subdivision
improvements shall be paid by the subdivider in accordance with a
schedule of fees adopted by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that the schedule for plan checking and inspection
fees be amended as follows:
Estimated Cost of Project_ Fee
Up to $100,000 6'- -2 with $250.00 minimum
$100,000 to $400,000 $6,500 plus 5% of the
excess over $100.000
Over $400,000 $21,500 plus 40 of the
excess over $400,000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: the Public Works Director with the
written approval of the City Manager„ may waive such portion of said fee
as may appear equitable under the circumstances where arrangements have
been made for private inspections of the project by a qualified independent
consultant and for adequate written reports of said inspections.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above - mentioned schedule of fees
shall become effective as of July 1, 1982.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 9100 is hereby
rescinded.
