A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH SETTING FETES FOR THE

PROCESSING OF CONVERSION OF PUBLIC STREETS TO
PRIVATE STREETS (CITY COUNCIL POLICY L -11)
WHEREAS, on November 8, 1982, the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach reviewed a proposed new City Council Policy
No. L -11 entitled Conversion of Public Streets to Private
Streets; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
now desires to adopt a schedule of fees which would provide for a
graduated fee based on the number of fee owners adjacent to the
streets to be vacated in said conversion,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the following schedule of fees as
outlined above be and hereby are established in connection with
City Council Policy L -11:
RATES FOR CONVERSION OF PUBLIC STREETS TO PRIVATE STREETS
Adjacent Owners Fee
0 to 20 $1,000
21 to 150 $1,500
151 and up $2,000
ADOPTED this 22nd day of _ November 1982.
