• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMMENDING THE CITY'S FEE SCHEDULE
FOR MUNICIPAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach adopted Resolution 98 -45 on
June 22, 1998 revising the Fee Schedule for municipal services; and
WHEREAS, it was the desire of the City Council to adjust the Planning Commission and
City Council appeal fees for Title 20 applications; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, considered various options for the establishment of the
appropriate appeal fee on July 13, 1998, and determined that a cost recovery percentage of 50%
of the fully- loaded cost of providing the service was appropriate; and
WHEREAS, the City Council introduced the necessary Ordinance to so amend the cost
recovery percentage for appeals to the Planning Commission and City Council, passed it to
• second reading, and adopted the Ordinance on July 27, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach resolves that the
appeal fees to the Planning Commission and City Council for Title 20 applications in the City's
Fee Schedule are amended as follows:
