A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH REQUIRING VEHICLES TRAVELING
ON PORT SEABOURNE WAY TO STOP AT NEWPORT
HILLS DRIVE EAST
WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides
that whenever any ordinance or resolution of this City designates and describes any
intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, the
City Traffic Engineer shall erect and maintain STOP signs at the entrances of each
intersection where a stop is required; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is a need for intersection control
on Port Seaboume Way in the City of Newport Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, that the following described location is hereby designated as a location
at which vehicles are required to stop:
On Port Seaboume Way at Newport Hills Drive East
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer be and hereby is
directed to erect and maintain all necessary signs at the above locations.
ADOPTED this 8' day of October 2002.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council is seven; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 2002 -64 was duly and regularly introduced before and adopted by
the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 8th
day of October, 2002, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
Ayes: Heffernan, O'Neil, Bromberg, Adams, Proctor, Mayor Ridgeway
Noes: None
Absent: Glover
Abstain: None
