• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER
6844 TO DELETE THE REQUIREMENT THAT VEHICLES
TRAVELLING ON MARCUS AVENUE.STOP AT 40TH
STREET.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Affairs Committee Council has
determined that, there is no longer a need for intersection
control at Marcus Avenue at 40th Street, in the City of Newport
Beach, that traffic on Marcus Avenue should no longer be required
to stop at that location, and that the stop signs should be
removed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, that the .following described location
is hereby designated as a location at which vehicles are no
longer required to stop:
Marcus Avenue at 40th Street
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
be and hereby is directed to remove all stop signs at the above
location.
