A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING AN ALLOWANCE OF
TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS AND THIRTY
NINE CENTS ($275.39) PER MONTH, ADJUSTED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONSUMER PRICE INDEX, TO
THE MAYOR IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 404 OF

WHEREAS, Section 404 of the City Charter provides that
in addition to the reimburse

WHEREAS, on November 20, 1984, the City Council
appointed a new Mayor; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of paying the
Mayor the sum of $275.39 per month as provided for in Section 404
of the Charter;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor be allowed the sum of
Two Hundred Seventy Five Dollars and Thirty Nine Cents ($275.39)
per month, adjusted annually in accordance with the Consumer
Price Index, or Five Percent (5i), whichever amount is less,
during the term as Mayor, beginning November 20, 1984 as
reimbursment for additional demands and expenses incurred in
serving as Mayor, in accordance with Section 404 of the Newport
Beach City Charter.
