A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ORDERING VACATION OF THE
WATERLINE EASEMENT IN CENTER DR. AS A
CONDITION OF RECORDATION PURSUANT TO
RESUBD I V I S I CSI 752 WITH RELOCAT I OBI OF THE
EXISTING WATER MAIN; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO RECORD SAID RESOLUTION WITH THE ORANGE
COUNTY RECORDER
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director of the City of
Newport Beach has presented to the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach a map and legal description depicting the portion
of waterline easement on Center Drive, a private street, proposed
to be vacated pursuant to the terms of Resubdivision of 752.
Copies of said map and legal descriiption are attached hereto as
Exhibits "A" "B" and incorporated by reference; and
WHEREAS, on December 10, 0984, the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach adopted Resolution No. 84 -151 declaring
City's intention to vacate said waterline easement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has approved and adopted said map and directed the City Clerk to
file same in proceedings for the vacation of the waterline
easement on Center Drive pursuant to the terms of Resubdivision
752; and
WHEREAS, the City Council set January 14, 1985 as the
public hearing date for purposes of hearing all persons
interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation; and
IOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that pursuant to the terms of
Resubdivision 752, the water line easement in Center Drive be and
• hereby is ordered vacated and abandoned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and here-
by is ordered to cause a certified copy of such Order, attested
under seal of the City of Newport Beach, to be recorded with the
Orange County Recorder after the developer has relocated the
existing water main into a new public utility easement to the
satisfaction of the Public Works Department, all pursuant to the
terms of Resubdivision 752,

That portion of a certain water line easement in the City of Newport Beach,
County of Orange, State of California, as described in a deed to the City of Newport
Beach recorded in Book 10825, Page 309 of Official Records, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Those portions of Lot 22, Tract No. 6015 as per map filed in Book 239,
Pages 28 to 41 inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, described as follows:
Parral 1
A strip of land, 24.00 feet in width, lying southwesterly, southeasterly
and southerly of and adjoining the following described line:
Commencing at a point on the northwesterly line of that certain land
described in the easement to the City of Newport Beach recorded June 14,
1971 in Book 9675, Page 396 of Official Records, distant North 500 45' 00"
East 48.00 feet from the southwesterly terminus of that certain course
described as "thence South 500 45' 00" West 236.10 feet" in said easement;
thence North 39° 15' 00" West 310.67 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
thence South 500 45' 00" West 218.65 feet to the beginning of a curve
concave northerly having a radius of 144.00 feet; thence southwesterly
26.20 feet along said curve through an angle of 10° 25' 29" to a point
hereinafter referred to as Point "A ", a radial to said point bears
South 28° 49' 32" East; thence westerly 99.17 feet continuing along said
curve through an angle of 39° 27' 30 "; thence North 790 22' 01" West
63.95 feet to the westerly line of said Lot 22.
EXCEPT the southeasterly 5.00 feet of the northeasterly 24.00 feet of said
