RESOLUTION NO. 86 -20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH REQUIRING VEHICLES TRAVELLING
ON 61ST STREET, 62ND STREET, CEDAR STREET,
WALNUT STREET, LUGONIA STREET, COLTON STREET,
AND THE NORTHBOARD APPROACH OF ORANGE STREET
TO STOP AT SEASHORE DRIVE.
WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides, among other things, that whenever any
ordinance or resolution of this City designates and describes any
street or portion thereof as a through street, or any
intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at one or
more entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect and
maintain stop signs on each and every street intersecting such
through street or portion thereof so designated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that there is a
need for intersection control at the following streets at
Seashore Drive, in the City of Newport Beach, that traffic on the
following streets should be required to stop at those locations,
and stop signs should be posted:
61st Street at Seashore Drive
62nd Street at Seashore Drive
Cedar Street at Seashore Drive
Walnut Street at Seashore Drive
Lugonia Street at Seashore Drive
Colton Street at Seashore Drive
Northboard approach of Orange Street at Seashore Drive
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, that the following described location
is hereby designated as a location at which vehicles are required
to stop:
61st Street at Seashore Drive
62nd Street at Seashore Drive
Cedar Street at Seashore Drive
Walnut Street at Seashore Drive
Lugonia Street at Seashore Drive
Colton Street at Seashore Drive
Northboard approach of Orange Street at Seashore Drive

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer be
and hereby is directed to erect and maintain all necessary signs
at the above location.
