A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF
• THE CITY MANAGER, CITY ATTORNEY AND CITY CLERK
FOR THE 1986 -87 FISCAL YEAR AND AMENDING THE
CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN TO
REFLECT SAID CHANGES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has the authority, under the Newport Beach City Charter, to
establish salaries of the City Manager, City Attorney and City
Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Council ihas evaluated the performance
of the City Manager, the City Attorney and City Clerk during the
previous fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, based upon that evaluation and consideration of
the duties performed by each, the City Council finds that the
salaries established by this resolution are fair and appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach hereby establishes that, effective July
5, 1986, the salaries of the City Manager, the City Attorney and
the City Clerk shall be as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED 'that the Classification and
Compensation Plan be amended to reflect said changes.

* Additional compensation: $225.00 per month automobile
allowance.
