RESOLUTION NO. 87 -142
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES
ON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CLIFF HAVEN AREA.
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code provides that when authorized signs are in place giving
notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle
between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. of any day for a
period of time no longer than two (2) hours upon such streets or
portions thereof as the City Council shall designate by
resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of vehicles
as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parking of
vehicles between the hours of 8 :00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. on school
days be limited to two (2) hours on the following streets:
1. St. James Road 15th Street to Kings Place
2. 15th Street Clay Street to Kings Place
3. Signal Road 15th Street southerly to and including
400 and 401 Signal Road
4. Snug Harbor Road Clay Street southerly to and
including 400 and 333 Snug Harbor Road
5. Pirate Road Clay Street southerly to and including
424 and 427 Pirate Road
6. Clay Street southside, St. Andrews to 15th Street
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Traffic Engineer be and
hereby is directed to erect and maintain all necessary signs at
the above locations.
