A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 9597 AND
85 -104 BY AMENDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE AVIATION
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 10, 1979, the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach adopted Resolution No. 9597 establishing the Orange
County Airport Aviation Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved subsequent
resolutions changing the name of the Committee to the "Aviation
Committee" (Resolution No. 82 -133), by extending the term of the
Committee (Resolution No. 83 -177 and Resolution No. 84 -147), and
amending the duties and membership of the Committee (Resolution
No. 85 -104); and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to further modify the
membership of the Aviation Committee to increase citizen
participation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that Resolutions No. 9597 and 85 -104 are
amended to revise the membership of the Aviation Committee to be
as follows:
1. Two (2) members of the Newport Beach City Council;
2. The City Attorney or his designee;
3. The City Manager or his designee;
4. Four (4) residents of the City of Newport Beach each
representing a homeowners' association; and
5. Alternates for the four (4) citizens representing the
homeowners' associations when deemed appropriatoS
