RESOLUTION NO. 90 -88
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING A NO
PARKING -TOW AWAY ZONE ON THE EAST SIDE OF
THE ACCESS DRIVE, WESTERLY OF NEWPORT
BOULEVARD FROM SHORT STREET TO 70 FEET
NORTH OF SHORT STREET.
WHEREAS, Section 12.40.190 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Council may, by
resolution, establish areas in which no person shall stop,
stand or park a vehicle; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to prohibit parking as
hereinafter provided in order to facilitate emergency access
by County Sanitation crews.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the east side of the access
drive, westerly of Newport Boulevard from Short Street to 70
feet north of Short Street, is hereby designated a NO
PARKING -TOW AWAY zone; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Traffic Engineer
shall erect the necessary signs to indicate said area as a NO
PARKING -TOW AWAY zone.
ADOPTED this 10th day of September, 1990.
