The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does resolve as • follows: Section 1: That the City Council does hereby find, determine and declare as follows: A. That pursuant to applicable law, a Municipal election was held and conducted in conjunction with the State -wide election on the 8th day of November, 1994; and B. That said election was held and conducted in conformity with all applicable provisions of law; and C. That said election was held for the purpose of submitting to the voters of said City the election of certain members of the City Council and certain proposed amendments of the City Charter. D. That pursuant to the direction of the City Council, the Registrar of Voters has heretofore conducted a canvas of the results thereof and has filed with the City Council a certificate (Exhibit "A") relating thereto which has been examined and accepted by this City Clerk, and which reflects the City Clerk's certification of the following election results: FOR MEMBERS OF CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT ONE - CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH: John Hedges 13,988 Long Pham 6,873 Elaine Linhoff 4,940 • FOR MEMBERS OF CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT THREE - CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH: Norma Glover 17,118 Art de La Loza 7,831 1 FOR MEMBERS OF CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT FOUR - CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH: Thomas C.
