A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
CHANGING THE STREET NAMES OF " BELCOURT DRIVE NORTH"
AND " BELCOURT DRIVE SOUTH" TO " BELCOURT DRIVE';
AND A CHANGE OF "LANDSDOWNE DRIVE" TO
"CHATHAM COURT" IN THE BELCOURT AREA OF THE
AERONUTRONIC -FORD PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT
• WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Newport Beach has
recommended to the City Council the changing of the street names as described in the attached Exhibit;
WHEREAS, Section 34091.1 of the Government Code of the State of California
authorizes the legislative body to change the name of any city street by adoption of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, after consideration of said recommendation it appears that it would be in
the interests of the City and convenient to the public to change the names of " Belcourt Drive North"
and " Belcourt Drive South" to " Belcourt Drive'; and a change of "Landsdowne Drive" to "Chatham
Court" in the Belcourt Area of the Aeronutronic-Ford Planned Community District, as hereinafter set
forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach that the street names of " Belcourt Drive North" and " Belcourt Drive South" within the City of
Newport Beach, as shown on the map marked Exhibit "A ", a copy of which is attached hereto, and by
reference is incorporated herein and made a part hereof,be changed to " Belcourt Drive'; and that
"Landsdowne Drive" within the City of Newport Beach, also as shown on the map marked Exhibit
"A ", be changed to "Chatham Court".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to forward a copy of
this Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of Orange County, in accordance with the provisions of
Section 34092 of the Government Code.
