A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2007-69
WHEREAS, Section 12.40.190 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides,
among other things, that when authorized signs are in place giving notice, standing or
parking of vehicles will be subject to removal thereof as the City Council shall designate
by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2007 -69 adopted October 23, 2007, the
parking of vehicles is restricted and subject to removal, excluding buses, as follows:
1. South side of 16"' Street — from 20 feet east of the driveway at 1601 16'h
Street, easterly, to 120 feet for approximately 100 feet in length; and
WHEREAS, because the Environmental Nature Center is operational and there is
no longer a need for designated on- street bus parking, the City Council finds it
desirable to rescind Resolution 2007 -69.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach that Resolution 2007 -69 be and hereby is rescinded.
