A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ESTABLISHING THE FILING FEE FOR AN APPEAL OF THE DETERMINATION ON
AN OPERATOR LICENSE
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2011 -002 was introduced for adoption by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach on January 11, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2011 -002 adds Chapter 5.25 to the Newport Beach
Municipal Code and requires operators of certain on -sale alcohol establishments to
obtain an Operator License; and
WHEREAS, Municipal Code Sections 5.25.060.0 and 5.25.080 allow the
applicant of an Operator License or any interested party to appeal the determination on
the issuance, revocation, suspension, or modification of an Operator License; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to hereby establish the filing fee for an
appeal on the determination of an Operator License.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California,
hereby resolves as follows:
SECTION 1: The filing fee for an appeal on the determination of an Operator
License pursuant to Sections 5.25.060.0 and 5.25.080 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code is Six Hundred Fifty -Six Dollars ($656.00).
SECTION 2: This resolution passed and approved at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 25th day of January, 2011.
