Item No. 1. 432 Goldenrod Tentative Parcel Map (PA2014 -042)
432 Goldenrod Avenue Council District 6
Summary: A Tentative Parcel Map application for two -unit condominium purposes. No waiver of
Title 19 (Subdivisions) development standards are proposed with this application. An
existing two -unit duplex has been demolished and a two -unit dwelling is currently under
construction. The Tentative Parcel Map would allow each unit to be sold individually.
The property is located in the R -2 (Two - Family Residential) District.
Recommended
Action: 1) Conduct public hearing, and
2) Adopt Resolution No. approving Tentative Parcel Map No. NP2014 -002

Compliance: The project is categorically exempt under Section 15315, of the State CEQA
(California Environmental Quality Act) Guidelines - Class 15 (Minor Land Divisions).
Item No. 2. La Jolla Residence Modification Permit (PA2014 -037)
210 La Jolla Drive Council District 2
Summary: A modification permit to allow a 65- percent addition to an existing nonconforming
single - family residence where the code limits additions up to 10 percent of the existing
gross floor area when the required parking dimensions are not provided. The garage
currently provides a 17 -foot 8 -inch width and a 19 -foot 2 -inch depth where 20 feet is
required for both dimensions. As proposed, the garage will be modified to provide an
This hearing is subject to the Ralph M. Brown Act. Among other things, the Brown Act requires that the Zoning
Administrator's agenda be posted at least seventy -two (72) hours in advance of each regular hearing and that the public be
allowed to comment on agenda items before the Zoning Administrator and items not on the agenda but are within the subject
matter jurisdiction of the Zoning Administrator. The Zoning Administrator may limit public comments to a reasonable amount

Item No. 3. Dove Street Condominium Conversion No. CC2014 -001 and Tentative Parcel
Map No. NP2013 -005 (PA2013 -024)

Summary: A condominium conversion in conjunction with a tentative parcel map for nonresidential
condominium purposes. The purpose of the Tentative Parcel Map is to create separate
ownership units that will allow for the sale of office space within an existing two -story
office building and enable reciprocal use of the common area lot for ingress, egress,
and parking. The application includes a request to waive the requirement that each unit
maintain separate water meters, and water and sewer connections. The property is
located in the PC -11 (Newport Place) District.
Recommended
Action: 1) Conduct public hearing; and
2) Adopt Resolution No. _ approving Condominium Conversion No. CC2014-
001 and Tentative Parcel Map No. NP2013 -005

Item No. 4. Big Canyon Reservoir Storage Minor Use Permit (PA2014 -031)

Summary: A minor use permit to allow the construction of a 9,000 square -foot single -story storage
building within the existing City maintenance yard at Big Canyon Reservoir. The
property is located in the PF (Public Facilities) District.
Recommended
Action: 1) Conduct public hearing; and
2) Adopt Resolution No. _ approving Minor Use Permit No. UP2014 -006

Compliance: The project is categorically exempt under Section 15303, of the State CEQA
(California Environmental Quality Act) Guidelines - Class 3 (New Construction or
Conversion of Small Structures).
D) PUBLIC COMMENTS ON NON - AGENDA ITEMS
Public comments are invited on non - agenda items generally considered to be within the subject matter
jurisdiction of the Zoning Administrator. Speakers must limit comments to three (3) minutes. Before
speaking, we invite, but do not require, you to state your name for the record. The Zoning Administrator
has the discretion to extend or shorten the speakers' time limit on non - agenda items, provided the time
limit adjustment is applied equally to all speakers. As a courtesy, please turn cell phones off or set them
in the silent mode.
