r7 Why discuss alternatives?
V You have to — it's the law.
ri Alternatives must attain the most of the
basic objectives of the project in a feasible
manner
A "no

Proposed Project
❑ City prefers the "Proposed Project."
u The County Board of Supervisors will be
asked to consider:
L. Adopting the Proposed Project (our preference)
...But they could also adopt an alternative (not our
preference)
u Why do we like the Proposed Project?
o Protects the curfew!
G Small growth to comply with ANCA
o Gives a full 15 years of certainty.
Conclusion
r-! No Project Alternative Pitfalls
Ends the Settlement Agreement
Board of Supervisors could increase the
number of ADD and MAP as soon as
2016 and modify the curfew in 2021
The Settlement Agreement will no longer
be in force and the limitations to
operations would no longer be
"grandfathered" under ANCA
