Ms. Wold is a Retail Consultant who has worked with the California Downtown Association and has assisted various downtowns with marketing strategies. She is a national speaker who resides on Balboa Island. Barbara Wold's resume is attached for your review. The EDC voted unanimously, at its meeting held May 26, 1999, to recommend to the City Council the appointment of Barbara Wold to the Economic Development Committee to fill the Community Based Marketing vacancy. The EDC and staff believe Barbara Wold would be a valuable addition to the Committee. Sharon Z.
