SUBJECT: APPOINTMENTS BY THE MAYOR TO THE COUNCIL /CITIZENS AD
HOC COMMITTEES, THE JOINT GOVERNMENTAL COMMITTEES,
AND THE CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEES.
BACKGROUND
. Pursuant to Council Policy A -9, the Mayor on an annual basis appoints Council
Members, subject to Council confirmation, to serve on the various Council/ Citizens Ad
Hoc Committees, the Joint Governmental Committees, and the Citizens Advisory
Committees. By virtue of Council Policy A -9, the Mayor is a member of all Standing
and Ad Hoc Committees.
