The following comments on an item on the Newport Beach City Council agenda are submitted by:

Item 1. Minutes for the October 14, 2014 Regular Meeting
The page numbers below refer to Volume 62. The passages in italics are from the draft, with suggested
changes shown in strikeout underline format.
1. Page 70, Item V, paragraph 4, sentence 2: "He commented on the tours they participated in
and reported that Newport Beach was gifted a granite statue, currently located at the
Bamboo Geu t Courtyard of the Library."
2. Page 70, Item V, paragraph 7, sentence 3: "He listed projects in which the City partnered
with Geastkeepers Coastkeeper, ..."
3. Page 72, Item 17, paragraph 3, sentence 2: "She reported that, as Chair of the Aviation
Committee, she recognized and thanked the City Attorney, City Manager, AWG, SPON,
Arm AirFair, the County, and the City Council for their work."
4. Page 72, Item 17, paragraph 5, sentence 3: "He thanked the City Council, the City
Manager, the City Attorney, Tom Edwards, Melinda Seeley See /y, Jean Watt, TonyGafry
Khoury, Ian Rush, and Marian Monero, as well as his current Chief of Staff and Director
Murphy." [I can't vouch for the spelling of the two names after Khoury]
5. Page 77, sentence 1: "Mayor Pro Tem Selich reported that the General Plan /Local Coastal
Program Implementation Committee meeting for October 29, 2014, was cancelled."
