Purpose
➢ Reduce traffic congestion and improve level of service
➢ Improve vehicular and bike safety with raised medians and bike lanes
➢ Aesthetically enhance area with new landscaping

Proposed Improvements
➢ Add 3rd NB through lane from 30th Street to 32nd Street
➢ Add 3rd SB through lane from Via Lido to 32nd Street
➢ Add bike lanes on both sides on Newport Blvd. from Via Lido to 32nd Street
➢ Relocate on- street parking between 30th Street & Via Lido to new public
parking lot at NW corner of Newport Blvd & 32nd Street intersection
➢ New landscaped medians on Newport Blvd from 30th Street to Via Lido
➢ Enhance landscaping at NW corner of Newport Blvd & 32nd Street
➢ Upgrade traffic signal equipment at 4 intersections
➢ Increase left turn storage at traffic signals
