Re: Dedication of Arroyo Park — July 28, 2001
The City of Newport Beach will dedicate a new City Park on Saturday, July 28,
2001, at 11 am.
This is the first new playing field park that has been completed in the City
since the Bob Henry Park was dedicated in August 1997.
The Mayor and Members of City Council and the residents of Newport Beach are
all invited to the dedication ceremony, featuring guest speaker Dave Frost from
the Anaheim Angels; a picnic lunch; and a softball game between City staff.
A brief PowerPoint presentation will be presented to highlight the park. Darin
Loughrey, Recreation Manager is in charge of the project.
