I do have an bterest In ernraonmental bsues and the preservation positive environmental qualities —for the present and for fAure generetions. I have heard indireactyy that there may be some concern about my possible appointment to EDAC on the grounds, that I have some sort of agenda or bias on development vs. envfonmental preservation. I don't have any tietella on this but I may have sometthing to do with my afosndanoe at meetings oorooermYhg arNhkhg Fisnch and the need for open apace in our canmunhy In other words. I have an ion on this one particular —but I Imagine it would be dMRcut to find an applicant with no opinions or same ambeor the Gan abhueswhidl have came before the community. I am also a hand, and perhaps partly because I am Iteed, loam certainly not automatically a opposed to development and would be very much against forming an opinion on arylhipp pro or corn— before facts and Issues are presented. I would only say that all development needs to be carefully pplanned and considered simply because the emrionment le fragile and there are fi go limits an driolopsnent which 9men oommundies and infrastructures can absorb. So 1 would say 1 have some concerns but not a bias which would amount to rubber-stamping one way or olorhother; I believe I would address any PMsct or issue coming to EDAC on its awn madb without a pre-db wklon.
