We cannot transfer the pier permit until the following deficiencies have been corrected and the property has been re -inspected: 1. It needs GFI, ground fault interrupter on the electrical line to the dock. 2. It needs an anti -siphon device installed (see enclosed). 3. The railings on the gangway by the float need to be tightened. The Newport Beach City Council Harbor Permit Policies state: 1 O.D. "At the time of transfer, all harbor structures shall be inspected for compliance with the City's minimum plumbing, electrical and structural requirements, and the conditions of the existing permit. All structural deficiencies must be corrected prior to transfer of the permit." Please call 644-3034 to request a reinspection. Once the property has passed reinspected, we have the transfer application signed by both buyer and seller and the balance of the fee the dock will be transferred.
