This procedure is required as set out in the Newport Beach Harbor Permit Policies Section 10-D. "At the time of transfer, all harbor structures shall be inspected for compliance with the City's minimum plumbing, electrical and structural requirements, and the conditions of the existing permit. All structural deficiencies must be corrected within 6 months from the date of transfer." After the six month period, the Marine Department re -inspects to determine whether the corrections have been completed. The property at 502 Via Lido Nord was inspected on March 6, 1979 and it was noted that the corrections, as outlined in the letter of August 18', 1978, had not been made. It is the responsibility of the permittee to make these repairs and if they are not iiiade, the permit may be revoked and the structure removed "Section 4-H Repairs: The Permittee shall keep the structure in good repair at all times. Failure to repair, when written notice has been given by the Marine Department, shall be cause for the revocation of the permit.
