The proposed Work would take place bayward of 715 Bayside Drive in Newport Bay within the City of Newport Beach, Orange County, California. Based on the inforniation you have provided, the Corps of Engineers has determined that your proposed activity complies with the terms and conditions of Regional General Permit (RGP) No. 54. As long as you comply with the general permit conditions of RGP No., an individual permit is not required. Specifically, you are authorized to: 1. Remove existing "L" shaped dock structure; 2. Install new "L" shaped dock structure with a 4'x 50' long finger and a23' x 5' lobe; 3. Retain existing gangway; and 4. Install two (2) 12" piles -2- A general permit does not grant any property rights or exclusive privileges. Also, it does not authorize any injury to the property or rights of others or authorize interference with any existing or proposed Federal project. Furthermore, it does not obviate the need to obtain other Federal, State, or local authorizations required by law. Thank you for participating in our regulatory program. Until th permlt application has been submitted and approved by this department, the pier permit can not be transferred. The Newport Beach City Council Harbor Permit Policies state: 10.D.
