In July of 1996 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 96-48 establishing the
regulations for candidates for elective office pertaining to candidate's statements. This
resolution was an ongoing resolution and has been applied for every election
subsequent to its adoption. Since there have not been any revisions to the regulations
since that time there is no need to adopt new regulations.
