In order for me to issue an AIC for the above mentioned project, an eelgrass survey must be completed. Your
options are: 1) Ask the City to perform an eelgrass survey for free at the next available negative tide (May 27) or
2) You can hire a certified eelgrass diver to do the survey at any time. Please advise what route you would like
to follow.
Also, just a reminder that this project needs to go to the federal agencies (Coastal, Army, Water quality etc ... ) for
approval prior to the City giving its final approval. The reason is that you are adding additional square footage to
the float (14'x 4') and secondly, the cost of this job is more than 20% of the total replacement cost.
