Based on a field inspection, it is our understanding-- that the encroaching vessel has not been relocated and is still in violation of Section 21.A. of the Harbor Permit Policies. If the vessel is.not relocated within five (5) days, this matter will be turned over to the City.Attorney's office for follow-up by that department. Glasier 3409 Finley - Newport Beach, CA 92663 Re: Harbor Permit 434-3409 Dear Mr.Glasier: The City of Newport Beach has received a complaint regarding the use of your residential float bayward of 3409 Finley Avenue. Specifically, the complaint is. that the dock is being used in violation of Section 21.A. of the Harbor Permit Policies, which states-- Z1.A. "Boats moored at private or public docks shall not extend beyond the projection of the property lines of the property to whic4'the dock facility is connected....". On.August 20, 1986 we observed in the field a Lido 14 CF 1130GF encroaching across the �common property line be'fween 3407 and 3409 Finley. To preclude further measures by the Marine Department,. this vessel must. -be moved to a location which -brings it into compliance with the above quoted policy.
