Received call from Robert Tye, 949-675-
9342, who owns the boat that is encroaching.
He rents the dock from his neighbor in return
for gardening work etc...
He said that he would cinch the boat tighter
against the dock and remove the bumper.
I looked at the boat and it is now within the
property lines and in compliance.
Case closed.

RE: Encroachment on Street End
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Huscroft,
A recent field inspection has revealed that there is a vessel berthed at your dock that is
extending beyond the projection of the property line into the City street end. This is in
violation of the Newport Beach Harbor Permit Policies: Moorings, A, which states:
"Boats moored at private or public docks shall not extend beyond the projection of
the property lines of the property to which the dock facility is connected in
accordance with section 20-C."
This letter is to advice you that unless you relocate your vessel within 30 days of the date
of this notice, an Administrative Citation may be issued and penalties will begin to accrue
($100, $200, $500 increments). Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated in this matter.
Please see the attached picture of the infraction. If you have any questions regarding the
enforcement of the Harbor Permit Policies., please feel free to give me a call.

The City of Newport Beach has received an application to transfer
Pier Permit 0531-519 for the property located at 519 36th Street,
Newport Beach.
The structure was inspected on January 1, 1990, at which time it
was determined that it conforms to City standards.
When we have received the pier transfer card, signed by both the
previous owner and the new owner, and the $275 transfer fee, we
will transfer the pier permit.
