Who is CM United?
Costa Mesa United is a team of Business leaders, local politicians. alumni and community leaders committed to build
two new competitive sports facilities within the next three years to be shared by Costa Mesa and Estancia High
Schools and the community at large.
What is Costa Mesa United?
Is a non - profit, 501c -3 corporation formed with the intent to build a fifty -meter swimming complex at Costa Mesa
High School and an outdoor multi -sports stadium with seating for over 2.500 at Estancia High School. Once
completed Costa Mesa United plans to continue its efforts to improve the athletic facilities in and around the city of
Costa Mesa.
When is Costa Mesa United?
It is happening now! The campaign committee is organized and currently working. The goal is to raise a total of 7.25
million dollars to complete these two projects. We currently (Oct 2004) have commitments of 2 million dollars so far.
We are seeking 1 -3 and 5 year pledges to complete the remaining fundraising goal. We hope to have each complex
completed in the year 2007.
