Regarding a pier permit transfer for the property located at 61
Balboa Coves, the structure was re -inspected on May 27, 1996, at
which time it was determined that it conforms to City standards.
Once we have the Transfer Application card, with the signatures of
v/both the buyer and seller, and the remaining portion of the
transfer fee ($150) , the permit will be transferred.

Sirs:
The City of Newport Beach Marine Department has received a request to transfer
pier permit 01011-0061-1 for the property located at 61 Balboa Coves, Newport
Beach, CA. The facility was inspected on April 23,1996.
We cannot transfer the pier permit until the following deficiency has/have been
corrected and WE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE CORRECTION:
1. Some of the non skid wood strips on the gangway must be replaced.
The Newport Beach City Council Harbor Permit Policies state:
10.D "At the time of transfer, all harbor structures shall be
inspected for compliance with the City's minimum plumbing,
electrical and structural requirements, and the conditions of the
existing permit. All structural deficiencies must be corrected prior
to transfer of the permit.
PLEASE ADVISE THIS DEPARTMENT WHEN THE ABOVE DEFICIENCIES
HAVE BEEN CORRECTED. Please call 644-3043 to request a re -inspection.
